Strategic Communications
I specialize in providing communications support to organizations focused on effective global development. My expertise lies in translating complex ideas and research into clear written materials, whether that be op-eds, blog posts, website content, social media posts, reports, or other formats. In support to senior leaders, I have ghost-written book chapters and op-eds that have been published in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Devex. My cross-sector experience spans the sectors of global health, education, financial inclusion, governance, and humanitarian emergencies.
I've been privileged to be able to support leading organizations such as BRAC, Building Markets, IDinsight, Innovations for Poverty Action, New Incentives, Village Enterprise, Stanford University's King Center for Global Development, Yale University's MacMillan Center, and the World Bank's Strategic Impact Evaluation Fund.
Before transitioning to an independent consulting role, I worked at Innovations for Poverty Action for eight years in policy communications, starting as a writer and advancing to associate director, where I was responsible for leading the communications team and executing the organization’s communications strategy.
I have lived in Côte d'Ivoire, France, Ghana, Malawi, and Mexico.
